South Donegal Language Plan

Gleann Geise

In 2018 a Lanugage Plan, based on research regarding the attitudes and current behaviour of those living in southwest Donegal in relation to Irish, was prepared. The plan outlines steps that can be taken, in cooperation with the community and the public sector, to strengthen Irish as a community language in our region. The Sliabh Liag Peninsula Language Planning Organising Committee oversaw and published this work with the support of the communities in the South Donegal Language Planning Region.
